Stepping onto the Ladies Golf Club of Toronto, I’m struck by a feeling that I’ve arrived at a sanctuary. Not only is the gorgeous layout in Markham a refuge from the bustling city about 30 minutes south, but it's a home away from the noise faced by women who love the game.

Launched in 2021, the Women in Coaching program aims to strike a stronger gender balance with high-performance coaches to better reflect the Canadian golf community.

Keirstead’s effort with ParaGolf Canada has helped bring disabled golfers to the sport and back to the sport.
