The Golden Golf Club is a Small Town Club with Big Time Golf. Located in scenic Golden, BC, our semi-private Club boasts over 350 Members and hosted over 30,000 rounds in 2024. Along with our award-winning 18-hole golf course, we offer full practice facilities, a 42-site RV park, a fully licensed Restaurant, and an 18-Hole Mini-Golf course. Dedicated to operational excellence, client experience, sustainability, and Team development, we’re looking for a passionate and driven Assistant/Associate Professional to join our team for the 2025 season and beyond.

- The successful candidate will be a key member of our professional team, with the opportunity to contribute to various facets of the golf operation. This includes supporting member and public events, assisting in the Pro Shop, aiding with instructional programs, and delivering exceptional client experiences. - Responsibilities

- Provide outstanding customer service to Members and Guests in all areas of the Club.
- Facilitate and support golf events, including Men's Night, Ladies' Day, and Club tournaments.
- Teach individual and group lessons for juniors, adults, and players of all skill levels.
- Assist with retail operations, sales, and inventory management in the Pro Shop.
- Perform club fittings and assist with club repair services.
- Help oversee practice facilities and ensure an exceptional experience for all clients.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and effective operations.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices, participating in PGA of Canada programs as applicable.
- Contribute to Junior Development Program and High School golf initiatives alongside fellow PGA of Canada Professionals on staff.
- Qualifications

- PGA of Canada Member in good standing with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Team first mindset.
- Proven ability to provide exceptional hospitality.
- Proven experience in customer service and retail, ideally in a golf environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a personable and professional demeanor.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to support all facets of the Club’s operations.
- Proficient in club fitting and repairs
- Tech-savvy skills to handle POS systems and scheduling software.
- Ability to maximize efficiency and effectiveness during all activities.
- Positive, responsible, and adaptable, with a commitment to upholding Club policies and enhancing the client experience.
- Compensation

- $24 - $26 per hour, commensurate with experience
- 40-hour work week unless additional hours are required.
