- Job Summary
- Pro Shop Attendants book tee times, assist in the daily operation of the Pro Shop and help prepare for tournaments. Staff must understand the game of golf and become familiar with products and services. They must also possess excellent telephone manners, sales skills, customer service and accurately perform cash and credit transactions.
- Responsibilities
-
- Responsible for greeting customers as they enter the Pro Shop.
- Booking tee times, golf cart and club rentals, retail sales of golf related products and merchandising and preparation for tournaments.
- Courteously enforce club regulations and policies regarding dress code, tee time restrictions.
- Clean and organize the Pro Shop, including vacuum, dust, restocking, arrange merchandise.
- Cash close of till including total daily receipts, accurately prepare closing report and deposit.
- Qualifications

- Flexible to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, Point of Sale systems and the use of the Internet)
- Ability to multitask, problem solve, work under pressure with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills, effective working in team environment and customer service
- Working knowledge of the game of golf and retail sales experience is an asset

- The successful applicants would ideally be employed Full time from mid-April to mid-October.
- The Jobs entail between 32-40 hrs. per week based on commitment and availability.
- Hourly wage will commensurate with experience and qualifications.
