About Leadbetter Golf Academy Singapore
A joint venture between Laguna National and famed instructor David Leadbetter, the Academy is staffed with a full complement of accredited LGA professionals. Prospective students can receive a dedicated daily curriculum and count on high quality instructional offerings with a focus on purposefully designed, long-term Academy training designed to groom and nurture the next generation of golfers.
Individual private golf lessons are also available at the new Leadbetter Golf Academy, providing world-class golf education to aspiring golfers. At the Members-only short game area, students can look forward to experiencing manicured conditions at the same high standard as our first-class fairways at the Masters and Classic courses, and a dedicated curriculum designed to take your game to the next level.
About Laguna National Golf Resort Club
A prominent club in Asia since its inauguration in 1993, Laguna National is one of Singapore’s premier golf and country clubs and is currently the home of the DP World Tour’s Porsche Singapore Classic and the China LPGA Tour’s Singapore Ladies Masters. Position: Teaching Professional – Head of Junior Development & Programs
Reports to: Academy Director
Summary: We are seeking a full-time Golf Professional to lead the development of our junior academy and school programs. This role involves creating training curriculum's, managing junior and school events, and maintaining a full teaching schedule.
- Responsibilities
-
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement junior golf programs, competitions, and training camps.
- Manage events for junior and school development programs.
- Coach 30+ hours per week in junior and school programs.
- Track student progress and conduct quarterly reviews.
- Coordinate with school partners to align curriculum goals with academy offerings.
- Prepare and execute an annual junior development plan.
- Deliver golf instruction based on Leadbetter Academy techniques.
- Maintain up-to-date teaching equipment and aids.
- Promote the academy locally to grow the client base.
- Drive revenue from lessons, clinics, and school programs.
- Contribute to the Laguna Lifestyle Magazine.
- Implement best practices for golf curriculum and mental development.
- Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum Class “A” status in a major PGA.
- 3 Year Bachelor’s degree or higher
- At least 2 years of experience teaching junior/school golf in an international setting.
- Proficient in English (written and spoken).
- Proven experience in developing junior golf programs and working with a large junior program.
- Compensation

Base salary: SGD $6,500–$8,500/month (depending on experience)
*Note – Singapore is a tax-friendly environment where the candidate can expect to pay between 4-7% annual income tax.
