PGA of Canada Announces 2025 Championship Schedule
The PGA of Canada is excited to announce its 2025 national championship schedule, which will feature events in three provinces from June-September, while the Head Professional Championship of Canada will be announced at a later date.
The PGA Seniors’ Championship of Canada presented by GOLFTEC and the PGA Championship of Canada are switching positions on the schedule this year, with the Seniors’ Championship, which will be played in a Stableford scoring format, leading off the season at Manitou Ridge in McKellar, Ontario June 15-18
A few weeks later, the top female professional and amateur players in the country will head to the storied Burlington Golf & Country Club July 7-10 for the PGA Women’s Championship of Canada.
The associations oldest event, the PGA Championship of Canada, will look for its 103rd champion at one of Quebec’s top venues July 28-31, where the PGA of Canada’s top-ranked players will compete at Pinegrove Country Club in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
The PGA of Canada is thrilled to play host to the Four Nations Cup September 2-5 at The Pulpit Club, where the Canadians will look to defend their 2022 victory in South Africa. More information about the event and qualifying criteria can be found here.
The 55th PGA Assistants’ Championship of Canada presented by Callaway Golf heads to the east coast, scheduled for September 15-18 at Oakfield Golf & Country Club in Enfied, Nova Scotia.
The 2024 season saw five players from four provinces win events – Yohann Benson (QC) at the PGA Championship of Canada, Michelle Xing (ON) at the PGA Women’s Championship of Canada, Alan McLean (ON) at the PGA Seniors Championship of Canada presented by GOLFTEC, Wes Heffernan (AB) at the PGA Assistants’ Championship of Canada presented by Callaway Golf and Kevin Stinson (BC) at the PGA Head Professional Championship of Canada presented by Callaway Golf.
Women are eligible and encouraged to compete in all National Championships and will play at a course length shorter than the men’s yardage.
“I speak for our entire championships team when I express how excited we are for this coming season,” said PGA of Canada Championships Manager Matt Mueller. “We are so grateful to have such phenomenal hosts and sponsors for our events, and we are very pleased to be able spread our championships out across the country.”
