SCOREGolf named Official Media Partner of the PGA Scramble presented by BMW
The PGA of Canada is proud to announce SCOREGolf as the Official Media Partner of the PGA Scramble presented by BMW, further elevating the country’s largest grassroots amateur golf tournament.
As the official media partner of the PGA Scramble, SCOREGolf will publish regular content pieces on the national tournament, including team/player profiles, host course flyovers and strategy tips from insiders. SCOREGolf will also provide on-the-ground coverage of the National Final at Cabot Cape Breton.
“SCOREGolf is one of the most trusted and recognized media companies in the sport and the PGA of Canada is thrilled for their involvement with the PGA Scramble presented by BMW,” said PGA of Canada CEO Kevin Thistle. “Our goal with the event has always been to give every-day golfers of all abilities the opportunity to feel a true tournament experience, while staying true to what makes the sport fun and inclusive.”
“With over 10,000 players competing annually and over 200 golf clubs involved, it makes perfect sense to provide golfers and host facilities additional exposure and to bring golfers at home closer to the event,” continued Thistle.
PGA Scramble presented by BMW participants who opt in to become a member of SCOREGolf.com will be automatically entered into regular prize draws, including the chance to have their Scramble registration cost covered. SCOREGolf will also run a contest to send one team that doesn’t qualify for the National Final on a weekend getaway of its own.
“We love everything about the PGA Scramble and have covered it in various ways since its inception so jumping on as the official media partner made total sense,” said Jason Logan, editor of SCOREGolf. “Scramble participants comprise a key part of our audience and we will further engage them with PGA Scramble-specific content along with our great features, profiles, editorials, golf course rankings and more.”
SCOREGolf was founded in 1980 and is the longest-standing golf media company in Canada.
